The PNW Consortium on Plastic's science communication team is an interdisciplinary group composed of ecotoxicologists, environmental engineers, research scientists, filmmakers, graphic designers, and social media managers collaborating to create accessible, compelling, and educational content communicating plastic pollution research.

Dr. Stacey Harper, PhD
Consortium Leader and Lead Principal Investigator
Stacey Harper is an Associate Professor in a joint position between the Department of Environmental & Molecular Toxicology and the School of Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering at Oregon State University (OSU). In her research laboratory, she uses rapid toxicity tests with whole organisms and communities of organisms to evaluate the biological activity and toxic potential of diverse nanomaterials, including nanoplastics.
